The First Gospel

Right after the Fall in the Garden of Eden, before judgment was fully spoken, God declared the very first gospel. In Genesis 3:15 (NKJV), the Lord promised, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”

Pastor Gregory Pope shares how God spoke victory in the very place of failure. The fall did not surprise Him — redemption was already in motion. The battle was real, but the victory was certain. Jesus is the promised Seed who crushed the serpent’s head at the cross. What looked like defeat was actually divine triumph.

Because of Christ, sin has no dominion, the enemy is defeated, and we now walk in redemption, righteousness, and victory. We don’t fight for victory — we fight from victory. Jesus was always the plan.
